Clerks Practitioners Day
CLERKS PRACTITIONERS DAY 2024
The course is aimed primarily at clerks and officers with less than one year's experience in the sector who want to gain an understanding of the work of the parish council and the role of the parish clerk. Sessions will look at:
- Roles and Responsibilities
- Meetings and Procedures
- Finance
- Community Engagement.
- Minutes and Agendas
The course is delivered in a group environment where discussion will be encouraged, and contacts made for future support and information sharing, as well as having the support of CALC. This is likely to be hugely valuable, offering reassurance to the new clerk/officer in a setting where they will be surrounded by people experiencing similar things, some more experienced and some less experienced.
In 2024 we aim to provide the main part of this training face-to-face over 1 whole day from 10am to 4pm
